🧀 How to cook Paneer Paratha

🛒 Ingredients (Makes 4 Parathas)
For Dough
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tbsp oil or ghee
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
For Paneer Filling
- 1 cup fresh paneer, grated or crumbled
- 1–2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp garam masala
- ½ tsp red chili powder
- ½ tsp amchur (dry mango powder) or lemon juice
- Salt to taste
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare Dough
Mix flour, salt, and oil. Add water gradually and knead into a soft dough.
Cover and let it rest for 15–20 minutes.
2️⃣ Prepare Filling
In a bowl, mix grated paneer with green chilies, coriander, cumin powder, garam masala, chili powder, amchur, and salt. Mix well.
3️⃣ Stuff & Roll
- Divide dough into equal balls.
- Roll one ball slightly, place 2–3 tbsp paneer filling in the center.
- Seal edges carefully and gently roll into a round paratha.
4️⃣ Cook
- Heat a tawa on medium flame.
- Place paratha and cook until small bubbles appear.
- Apply ghee or oil, flip, and cook both sides until golden brown.
